Planetario

On September 19th our class visited the Planetary that arrives to our school. Pre-Kinder and Nursery children enjoyed so much the visit to the wonderful Planetary. Through this visit children learnt more about the planets and the solar system. 

This was a good opportunity to share with our classmates an unforgettable experience, talking with their classmates about this nice visit.

Lab experiment: Germination process

On Thursday 11^th our class went to the Science Lab to make a nice experiment about the germination process. Children recognised this interesting process and shared with their partners a good time learning together.

Hedgehogs class planted a seed into a glass and started an activity that will be very significant for them, because they are going to take care of their plants to help them to grow up and be a beautiful flower.

Spring Festival

During the first week of September  we have celebrated Sring Festival, that has been a nice activity that involves children in different activities as: draw, poetry, song and games.

During the classes children have been practising to performance their abilities in front the judges on Thursday 04^th and on Friday 05^th children and parents enjoyed a nice day with games and showing performances of some children in the closing ceremony.

This was a good beginning to the beautiful shinny season.

Children´s Day

On August 22^nd we celebrated Children´s Day. Early Years level had some nice and interesting activities to celebrate that important date.

During the morning children enjoyed to participate in amazing activities as: Story telling, Tómbola, Friendship quilt, pizza time, craft activity and they liked sharing and playing with their partners in all these activities.

We finished the day making a nice butterfly with colorful limpiapipas. This was a beauty memory of that incredible day.

Welcome back to shool!

Dear Hedgehogs! We are starting a new period of classes. This term, we will have more nice activities that will give us the opportunity to share more with our partners and to have fun together.

During our first weeks of classes, we had some nice activities that helped us improve our learning and gave us the opportunity to share good moments with our classmates.

Exposition: My favourite toy

On March 25^th children had an expositions of their favourite toys. That was a good opportunity to know better about what they like and share a special moment between us. Children were enthusiastic to show their special toys to their partners and the whole class was with a lot of expectation in each exposition. It was a nice activity in Spanish class that we will repeat in other subjects.

Knowing our new teachers

During the first Classes week, children knew their new teachers and shared funny and interesting activities with them. 

Miss Rosita (Art teacher), Miss Isabel (Psicomotricidad teacher), Miss Elenita (Computing teacher) and the teachers Vicente (Music teacher) and Daniel (Drama teacher) were introduced with a big smile by Hedgehogs class. They played, sang, danced and enjoyed with our children, who were so excited and enthusiastic with their dynamism and good humor.

The classes are just starting, and more funny activities are coming!

Independence Day celebration

On Thursday 10th our school celebrated National Holiday. In that way, each class of Early Years made a nice mural with the whole participation of children. Pre Kinder represented the Jungle region and our class decorated a nice mural about it. The presentation was so good and showed the enthusiastic participation of our children.

This week our class made a delicious cake to share together. This was a nice activity where children enjoyed preparing this recipe, following the instructions and having a good time.

Dogs parade

On Thursday 19th our class had a nice Dog Parade. Children  walked around the school playing as nice dogs. During the week we learnt more about the pets´ feelings and the importance to take care of our pets and value sharing in our lives.

Reading time

Hedgehogs class had a nice day reading an interesting story using our story books. They felt comfortable recognizing the book parts and story characters. It was a nice opportunity to share ideas about the topic of the story: The most important of a competition is to participate and share good time together. The purpose of the activity: Motivate the habit of reading in our children.

Father´s Day Celebration

On June 13th we celebrated Father´s Day in Early Years. Our class had a amazing and enthusiastic performance in this event. We represented to USA and danced a funny pop-country music. Children enjoyed a lot to dance for their parents and they were so excited during the presentation.

Later, fathers received their portraits made by their sons/daughters. The activity finished with a nice photo session with fathers and their sons/daughters.
